This season was definitely an improvement over last season and overall a great season for me. For starters I like how more serious and focus Archer's been since he got out of his coma and how he overcame his disability and that he no longer needs he's cane anymore by the end of the season. I also like how Lana marriage wasn't all "happily ever after" after all. All she did was complain about her Robert all the time and kind of avoiding him. I was totally shock to see Robert was the one who cheated on Lana and he didn't seem sorry at all. However I liked how Lana went to Archer's place to vent her broken heart and in a surprisingly rare moment, Archer did not joke or take joy in her pain but instead sat down with her quietly and gave her a comforting hand. This gives me hope that they may eventually get back together next season.
But what really hit me was the send off they gave Malory Archer at the ending of this season, it was truly the most emotional and saddest scene yet on the show. And I like that they made her retire on a beach with her husband instead of just killing her off and she went out in style. I could tell Jon got emotional when he read the good-bye letter from Malory. I'm really going miss Malory on this show and I'm really going miss Jessica Walter and Ron Liebman, they truly were great. RIP to both of them, they will be missed.
