I'm now admin - get some, get some!
Don't worry, I'll use my new superpowers sparingly, but I do plan on making a few subtle changes in order to prevent ants (issue/problems) and promote a few nice things (goodies and extra info) around the place.
The main nice things we can all enjoy are to be found in the new "Meta" section in the drop down menu (under "Miscellaneous"). It contains links for all the extra info about the structure and/or nature of Archer - the show and characters (such as relationship histories, back stories, hidden connections etc) - which I have been piecing together over the last year or so. Hopefully people will appreciate that. How can you not? This includes "cultural references" along with the "Frisky Dingo" ones - which form such a massive part of the show. They are all much easier to find now.
Main ants that need clearing up:
- As we are entering into a new season (phrasing), I just wanted to point out that a few pages are in need of attention - mainly the Dreamland dream personas I created last year. If anyone wants to help out and contribute there, that would be cool. Having given them a look, the Charlotte Vandertunt , Krieger (Dreamland) and Dutch Dylan are exemplary, if you people want to use those as guides. It's a substantial task and potentially rewarding - it helps if you liked that season too. (I've started rewatching the season and am working on these myself - the humour is dark, but it is definitely there. I'm finding myself laughing more at the hidden gems in there.) There is a bit of left over detail on Danger Islands pages too.
- Also, pet peeve, can people please add their cultural references to the relevant episode page too, as it's easier if you do it at the same time.
- Personally, I plan on working my way through each episode page and making them all conform. If they don't all yet, rest assured that it is underway. If you can help out, that would be appreciated. Just look at the earlier pages (season 1 and 2) and get a sense of what I am aiming at, and help out how you can. It's too big a job for one person - but if it is left to me alone (as there are no other active admins) just know it could take a while and all help would be appreciated.
