The Republic of San Marcos is a small Central American country featured in Season 5 of Archer, not to be confused with the city and municipality in Guatemala with the same name.
History[]
San Marcos is currently involved in a civil war between the government and communist rebels. Calderon was involved in some type of deal with the CIA to traffic cocaine in exchange for arms shipments. This all started falling apart when the former employees of ISIS manage to trick one of the arms dealers into giving them the weapons, and soon flew to San Marcos to trade the weapons to Calderon.
