The PPSh-41 Submachine Gun was a mass-produced Russian weapon used heavily during World War II. It has been in service since 1941 and is largely obsolete, but continues to be used by some poorer paramilitaries. This weapon is the stereotypical weapon of Russian soldiers during World War II.
It also is chambered in the same caliber as the Tokarev TT-33 pistol (7.62x25mm) although to a considerably hotter load.
